Why book a private room for a honeymoon dinner?
A honeymoon dinner is the one evening of the trip that should not feel shared. KUT SEOUL has five private dining rooms, and the smallest seats two to three guests. A private room session runs up to about three hours, so the evening is not rushed, and a grill master cooks the Hanwoo in your room.
The counter is the other option. It has eight seats, serves the 11-dish Posh course at dinner and runs up to about two hours. It suits couples who enjoy watching the kitchen; the room suits couples who want the evening to themselves. Counter Seats or Private Rooms? compares the two.

Prices are final, with no service charge or tipping. For a honeymoon dinner in a private room, the choice is between Signature and Royal. How do you book from abroad?
- Book on CatchTable at least a week ahead. Dinner and weekends fill first. Check availability on CatchTable.
- Pay the deposit. It is 100% of the course price. Foreign-issued Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, JCB, Diners Club and Discover cards are accepted.
- Add your request. Write "honeymoon" and any allergies in the CatchTable memo at least one day before, or email kut.korea@gmail.com. Same-day requests are hard to arrange.
- Ask for a lettering plate. A plate with your message is free when you note it one day ahead. You can also bring your own cake at no charge.
Plan the date around your flights
The cancellation policy matters more when you are flying in. Cancelling two or more days before is free, one day before refunds 50%, and same-day cancellations or no-shows are not refunded. Arriving more than 20 minutes late counts as a no-show.
That makes the arrival day a risky choice for a fully paid dinner. A later night of the trip leaves room for delayed flights and jet lag. KUT SEOUL is closed on Tuesdays. Dinner starts at 17:30 with last order at 19:30; lunch runs 11:30–15:00 with last order at 14:30.
Bringing a bottle
If you are carrying a bottle from home or one bought for the occasion, KUT SEOUL accepts one bottle per group. Corkage is ₩70,000 for wine and ₩100,000 for whisky or champagne. Whisky and Wine Pairing with Hanwoo has pairing ideas.
How do you get to KUT SEOUL?
KUT SEOUL is on the third floor of Hanol Tower, 96 Jongno, right next to Tapgol Park.
